Dr. Hurny-Fricano has over 20 years of experience managing nonprofit organizations in the Syracuse area. She received a Bachelor's degree in Human Services from Cornell University, a Master's degree in Social Work from Syracuse University, and a Doctorate of Education (Executive Leadership) from St. John Fisher University. She has spent her entire professional career serving our communities' most vulnerable populations. Most recently, at ARISE Child and Family Services, Inc. where she served on the senior leadership team as Director of Clinical Services. Prior to joining ARISE, Dr. Hurny-Fricano served as Executive Director for Prevention Network focusing on social care needs of those struggling with mental health and substance use issues. With her extensive experience in the Human Services field, she is now looking forward to completing the circle of support of food insecurity and socialization through the Power of a Knock with the Meals on Wheels mission.
