Grant Jones is the CEO of Meals on Wheels Metro Boise.
While serving as Director of Development for the Elks Rehab System, the organization assumed responsibility for the Boise-area Meals on Wheels program, and he was asked to also manage the program. Eleven years later, he oversees the area’s fast-growing Home Delivered program, nine Congregate sites, and meal programs at two retirement communities.
Much of his career has been in public relations and communications, including Heinz and American Automobile Association in two states.
Grant has served on boards of several local organizations. He was recently appointed to serve on the board of the National Association of Nutrition and Senior Programs and is the president of the Community Action Partnership Association of Idaho.
He grew up in Ethiopia, where seniors are revered and would never require Meals on Wheels!
