Shon Gress earned a bachelor’s degree in human services communication-interpersonal communication; and a master’s degree in human & consumer sciences-gerontology/family studies from Ohio University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He's dutifully served as Executive Director & CEO of Meals on Wheels Guernsey County and Guernsey County Senior Center, located in rural southeastern Ohio for the past 24 years. He has received multiple local and state awards, including the prestigious John Sidlo Standard of Excellence for Vision, Leadership, & Legacy Award. He also help found the Meals on Wheels Ohio state chapter. Recognized as an industry leader Shon strives to develop new innovative community-based programs, expand the scope of services, & collaborates to create an inclusive environment where every senior citizen can feel welcomed, valued, respected, & appreciated while engaged in all aspects of community life. He enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
